I enjoyed meeting and photographing Marilyn, she is taking piano lessons at South Shore Conservatory and hired me to create portraits for herself and this article she wrote for the conservatory. Great organization that fosters creativity in all forms!🎼

Today marks one year since I had a client inside my home studio, yesterday I was happy to welcome my sister for her headshot!📸 That day in 2020 was strange I had a local company arriving one at a time for their portrait, we didn’t know exactly what was happening but refrained from shaking hands within a few short days the world shut its doors, all of my clients were cancelling or postponing - life changed forever - we were quarantined in a pandemic. COVID-19 sent us down a long path of anxiety ridden days trying to pivot to our new normal while raising a one year old. Never did we imagine we would still be facing these challenges today. It has been an incredibly emotional year but so grateful for our health and the ability to still serve my clients in my smaller mudroom studio and on location to keep both my family and clients safe.❤️ Hoping to hear we are all rising up stronger and seeing a light at the end of this long tunnel.🙏🏻
