Important update for the drone industry:

The FCC has extended certain approvals and exemptions related to uncrewed aircraft systems and critical drone components on the FCC Covered List through January 1, 2028.

This is not a complete removal of the restrictions, but it gives drone operators, manufacturers, public-safety agencies, and businesses more time while federal reviews continue.

For anyone using or purchasing foreign-manufactured drone equipment, this is worth watching closely because future decisions could affect new equipment approvals, imports, replacement parts, and long-term fleet planning.
