What to wear for your outdoor photo session (this matters more than you think!)

Outfits are the difference between photos that feel okay vs photos that feel like an entire experience!

I actually worked alongside my session stylist, Cat, to create a full “What to Wear” blog for my clients & followers with real examples, color palettes, and detailed direction so you’re not left guessing what looks best on camera (especially for outdoor sessions and families with kids)!

This is why a two-day wedding in Yosemite National Park just hits different ✨

We chased the best light across the park from sunset + dusk at Taft Point to the dreamiest soft evening glow in Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point the next day.

No rushing. No crowds. Just intentional moments with the best lighting in every location ✨

And this stop at Cathedral Beach… easily one of my favorites. The light, the calm, the way everything slowed down for them was so perfect!

If you’re planning a Yosemite wedding or elopement and want photos like this, spacing your day out changes everything. This is my biggest wedding regret.. not splitting it into 2 days. I felt so rushed the whole day and I missed out on sunset photos 😫

We explored one of my favorite easy-access waterfall spots in Yosemite Valley! No hiking, just a small walk and pure magic!

And right as we wrapped up… the softest rainbow decided to show off for them like the park itself was celebrating their little one on the way 🌈😍
