I've been photographing newborns for quite a while, so I usually have a good idea of what to expect during a session. Did you get maternity portraits done? I didn't and I'll tell you why.

I was "too busy", I didn't like the way I felt pregnant, I had other children to take care of, it was a luxury item, I didn't take the time to find a photographer, I was too busy taking pictures of others to get my picture taken. 🙄

I regret it to this day. I had four kids and honestly, I think I have one picture of me pregnant where I was full cupping the belly to show it off. You know what? I love that picture. The hormones were telling me I was huge, I was not. I was just pregnant. Take the time, let go of the excuses. It's worth it, I promise.
