We are distinct from most other photography businesses because, with us, you will automatically receive a disc with all your images on it without any extra fee. Once you have the disc you have the full rights to go and print wherever you like. You may also make as many copies of your disc as you like. "I love Jesus. After that, my wife. Then, my children. After these there is coffee... that about settles it."

💕 One of My Favorite Moments 💕

This is one of my favorite moments to capture on any wedding day. It is the moment that the Bride and groom share a fresh, quiet couple minutes fresh after tying the knot.

The ceremony is done.. family pictures are finished, the guests have gone to the reception area, and now the Bride + Groom get their uninterrupted moments together while I capture their mini shoot as they exhale, while breathing in the beginning of their new, one-flesh union... their happily ever after, now has "forever" rings on it.

Sweetness.

♡ The Shoes ♡

One of my favorite things (as I have been doing wedding photography over the years) has been capturing the wedding details. Of all the details, the shoes stand out in my mind.

Every bride has a different personality, and different tastes, and desires. And the shoes always seem to tell these little unique nuances. :)

From glamorous high heels, to dressy flats, to tennis, or Toms... the shoes add a sweet touch to the overall wedding day.

I love it. I love seeing Brides show their personality through little things like this.

♡ props + bridals ♡

"Should I use props for my bridal photography shoot?"

Props used during bridal shoots can be so fun, and really set a tone for your wedding images. They are not necessary by any means (most bridal shoots are done using only the new wedding dress, and perhaps a bouquet!)

But every now and then, throwing a carousel umbrella, a book, a piano (true story), or even an old chair (like above) in the mix can make some captivating images that you will cherish forever.

Do you need props? No. Not at all. :)

♡ The Send-Off ♡

A lot of couples I talk to always ask me in the consultation as they are planning their wedding photography details, "Should we do a send-off?"

Here is my answer: Probably. :)

Even if you schedule your wedding photographer for only a portion of your reception, we can organize an early send off, where all your wedding guests at the reception line up, and we get an amazing, memorable shot to cap off your amazing wedding day, and then all the guests go back into the reception and keep celebrating!

The benefits of doing an earlier send-off shot (in my experience) is because the earlier you do it, the more guests will be able to be in the shot! People start to trickle out after the first 2-3 hours of the reception.

Either way, whether you have the photographer stay until the very end of your evening, or decide to do a send-off shot early (while continuing your reception after)... its totally doable, and worth it.

Either way, do YOU. Do what YOU want on the best day of your life!

♡ DETAILS MATTER! ♡

Every part of your wedding day is a special piece of your story. From the big things, like hair, make-up, wedding dress, and venue... all the way down to the shoes the bride wears, and her specially chosen jewelry she will dawn for the biggest day of her life, and even perfume!

As a wedding photographer that shoots weddings across the country (from Raleigh, NC to all coasts) one of the things I make sure of is to capture all the little details that the Bride worked so hard to put together. From reception decorations, to food catering, and even fun little details like these cute white tennies that this bride rocked coming down the isle.

Wedding Details Matter. Big and small.

Veil or no veil?

This is a question always lurking in the mind of brides, especially for an outdoor wedding or bridal portraits session. A bridal wedding veil can be so fun to work with during a bridal shoot. And even though wedding photographers know the wind can be blowing at times in Raleigh, NC, don't let it cancel the veil if the bride really wants it. It's so worth it. :)

The veil can produce some of your favorite bridal portrait shots.
