Some poetry to soothe the soul

Look at you now
trying to build a wall with your broken heart
But the pieces are sharp
And you wanna do is make art
But you keep cutting yourself on each piece you grab to start
Sometimes it better
To work together
But alone from the start
All you've ever done is give away your worthless heart
And only when you learn to see
but not from assurance and belief
but blinded by grief can you find faith to at long last start
To pick up the pieces of your broken heart
And what once started as a wall around your heart
Is a path without end and while its start
was born from grief it's at long last art
Free to be shared
All from the pieces of one broken heart.
