May the 4th be with you, and Kylee and Austin. We had an exciting kick off to the wedding season on the 4th and coincidentally the wedding was Star Wars themed. The day went from cloudy to sunny and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Congrats you guys!

When October the 13th strikes and the forecast says heavy rain all day, you take the lightest of mist in order to get the pics. I've known Roy for over 15 years so to be able to capture his and Emily's wedding for a couple hours was something special to me, especially because of the dark and moody theme!

When Kim and Josh told me they were getting married in the North Iowa area, but lived in Colorado you already know they didn't have to tell me twice to align their engagement session with my annual Colorado trip. Shooting there was icing on the cake for my trip this year, and hoping to go back there and maybe shoot a wedding or two! Can I call myself a Colorado photographer yet? lolol!!

You know when you make the "list" on who you're going to invite to your wedding gets brought up? You know you want those who love you present. Not for the tequila, not for the deserts or the free tacos... you want people who support the commitment between you and your life partner. Well Emily and Ricky couldn't have picked a better crowd.

Nothing could have stopped Emily + Ricardo from enjoying their day yesterday. We may have had a few curveballs, but the crowd was hype, the cheers and the whistles and the dancing. Ricardo and Emily finally get to move on to their next chapter and finally take a sigh of relief! Two years of planning, exchanging I do's and a few pics to remember the day ;).

Cassie and Jordan tied the knot in a micro wedding setting at Farm Girl Weddings in Forest city. It couldn’t have been any more perfect that day!

While they only hired me for a couple of hours, I tried to get as many details as I could as well as getting the main family and couple portraits. I know I have said this before, but I can stress this enough. If you are getting married, but don’t require a photographer for a full day, definitely consider hiring someone for at least a couple of hours to capture the most important parts of your day! You won’t regret it.

Anyone that follows my personal instagram House.of.Adri knows that I’m obsessed with the 18-1900s aesthetic. So when Amanda reached out and let me know that her ceremony would be hosted in her family’s historic home museum I was excited to say the least. Photographing Amanda and Ryan in this home just filled my heart and I honestly could have worked another ten hours there and not have been tired of it all. Thank you Amanda and Ryan for this opportunity!

Where can I start? BryAnn and I met while in photography school. When I tell you no other person has had faith in my career like she has, I'm not lying. I photographed her maternity session when she was first pregnant with her first little and again I got to witness her family grow as a little boy joined her family, of coarse an engagement seen followed. Now I got to photograph her wedding to seal the deal. She's kind and loving and very patient. I am honored to be part of her day and not only as a photographer, but to feel like a friend through it all. Congrats BryAnn and Connor!

Dependable, loving and forgiving; this is how Kim described Ryan. They met on Match.com and a match they are! The way Ryan laughed when Kim would do a silly little thing that I demanded of them during our shoot. Its hard for me to translate it at the moment, but when I sit in front of my computer and look at everything that I captured, I see it, I see them. I know their family sees it. So it makes sense.
