It was absolutely freezing this winter evening at the beach, the kind of cold that seeps in the second you step outside. And yet, you would never know it from these images.

They showed up with so much trust and grace, embracing every moment and truly soaking in this time together, just the two of them.

I started my business in San Diego… and in many ways, it will always feel like home.

Some of my clients have been with me since the very beginning. Through seasons of growing families, new babies, and the quiet, in-between moments that mean the most.

There’s something incredibly special about being invited back into your lives year after year. Watching your children grow, seeing your story unfold, and preserving it along the way… it’s not something I ever take lightly and I am forever grateful for.

Since moving to North Carolina, I still travel back to San Diego several times a year for sessions, and it’s always something I look forward to so deeply.

To my San Diego families, thank you for trusting me from the very beginning and for continuing to come back. It means more than I can put into words 🤍

When I first visited Topsail Island, it felt like stepping into a Nicholas Sparks novel.

I immediately fell in love.
The stunning, untouched beaches.
Sea oats swaying in the wind.
The warmth of the ocean.
The quiet, slow rhythm of a small beach town.

It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, to be present, to simply be together.

This session felt like a reflection of all of that.

One of the dreamiest evenings, with the sweetest family, their beautiful baby girl, and their two fur pups.

There’s something so special about documenting a season like this, where life feels full, a little wild, and so deeply loved all at once. The way she snuggles into her mama, the gummy smiles, and the in-between moments… it’s everything I hope to preserve for my families.
These are the days that pass quickly, but deserve to be remembered slowly.
