It was hard to choose just a few favorites from Lindy + Josh’s Sneak Peek without sharing all 20+ portraits 🫣

But I’m trying to pace myself and save the really big reveal for when I’ve finished their entire gallery 🤍

So for now, enjoy this little glimpse into their post-sacrament portraits. The goal was soft, emotive, elegant, and completely true to the beauty of the day.

There’s something so special about this part of a Catholic wedding day: the Mass has ended, the sacrament has been celebrated, and suddenly there’s a quiet moment to simply take in the fact that you’re MARRIED!!

I love how one simple pose can turn into 7 completely different photographs; 7 different emotions, all in a matter of seconds.

One of my favorite areas of growth as a photographer has been learning how to work quickly and efficiently.

Give me five minutes with a couple, and I want to create 20+ unique images without making you feel like your entire wedding day is being spent taking photos.

Because art takes time, but your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot. You deserve beautiful, intentional, editorial photographs and a day that flows naturally.

Come along with me for an entire wedding day…with timestamps! 🤍

I wanted to give you a little window into what a full wedding day looks like from my perspective as a Catholic wedding photographer!

From the first details in the morning to getting ready, the Mass, portraits, reception, packed dance floor, and grand exit… this is what it really looks like behind the camera.
Some wedding days are really long and some involve traveling across Ohio, into Indiana, or down to Kentucky. Some mean 12+ hours straight on my feet.
And somehow, I still get to the end of the night thinking, I really love what I do 🫶🏻

Because I don’t just want to photograph the show stopping parts, I want to be there for the entire story; the quiet moments, the chaos, the laughter, the tears, the sacred moments, and all the little things you’ll forget happened until you see them again in your gallery years later!

Hannah + Nick get married TOMORROW!! Ahhhh!

I absolutely can’t wait to spend the day with them and witness their sacrament day from behind my lens (with maybe a lil tear or two 🫣🥹)

Their engagement session was one of my favorites to date even though a storm was brewing and we had to dodge not only raindrops, but every other person trying to use the park that evening. It was chaotic!

But from chaos often comes the greatest art, in my humble opinion, and these photos did not disappoint. We might even be dodging rain drops again tomorrow, but no worries, we know how to handle that already 😂
