The detail you can capture with the right gear is amazing. I’ve had my 90mm macro lens for years and rarely touched it. Maybe a photoshoot or two. I was almost at a point of selling it before I caught an interest in macro photography. Now I’m glad I didn’t sell. It might have become my second favorite lens.

So much to learn with macro. I’ve never been in a situation where focus is so critical to an image turning out useable. It definitely required some gear change and practice. Slowly getting the settings figured out.
Luckily this little guy decided to model for a bit. Found him in the house and thought that maybe he could help me out. Live practice subjects are hard to come by and this curious little jumping spider was more than willing.
