Please pray for this super sweet, kind hearted, respectful young mans family. He was in the Air Force and at his duty station in a Germany when he was killed in a car accident. Our entire community is shocked and is in need of many prayers.

Reese Haile, I enjoyed taking your senior pictures so much! You were so cooperative and respectful! We joked about how one of these was going to be your first album cover. Then when you got all your pictures, you said there were so many that could be album covers. I said I couldn’t wait to see/hear those albums some day! I’ve been waiting, but now I know I will never get to see one, and that makes me so sad. You had a bright future young man! May you rest in peace!

I just have to share this special moment...

The moment Jesse saw Taylor, his eyes filled with tears...it was so sweet, but the moment Jesse's son reached up and grabbed his arm to comfort him... I thought I was gonna cry. It was the sweetest thing and it warmed my heart, and I just had to share it!

Jesse & Taylor's Day was a rainy, rainy day, but that didn't stop them from pushing forward! I mean, they say rain on your wedding day is good luck, right?!?! Well, Jesse & Taylor should have enough to last a lifetime. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony, photos and to party at the reception! It was all simply wonderful. Here's some of my favorites from their day! The décor and details were stunning, but the love between these two is really what stuck out to me that day! Here's to many, many years of happy marriage for you guys!

"Why do you take so many pictures?" and "Do we have to?!?!" Those are some of the questions I am asked so often. And quite frankly, I usually give an answer like "Because I'm supposed to!" or "Because I don't want to miss anything", or "Yes, you do", or "Do it for your mother (or insert any other family member wanting said photo)"

People often take life for granted...always thinking that they can take a picture later, or they'll do it next time, but the truth is, you don't always have a next time. I photographed Janna's wedding 9 days ago. 9 days...that's all it took for her life (as well as her entire family's life) to be changed forever. Thankfully, we took those photos, so now they have them, and will have them forever. So do it guys...just take the freaking picture. I promise, you'll never regret it...Many, many prayers to this entire family!

Janna & Dylan Whitehead got married last Saturday. The day was full of beautiful things, beautiful people, lots of laughter, wonderful food, and so much more. All that aside, the one thing that comes to mind when thinking back to their day is the amazing amount of love between them. Normally, I put up a variety of shots from their wedding day, but in this preview, I really want to spotlight their love for each other. I think you'll agree that is speaks for itself through the photos...

Time to check out this senior stunner, Kali Stroud. We had so much fun running from spot to spot during her session the other night. Lots of ranger driving, excellent creek walking in heels by Kali, perfect accessorizing by her mama, and the best assisting/entertainment by Kendal & Jack! And can we just talk about this wardrobe for a minute?!?! I mean, really! So cute and adorable and so put together! Congrats, Kali!

And.....one last preview picture! Manda (coordinator at Cedar Skies - Barn) pulled out a smoke bomb AND helped wrangle all the stray children! Yeah...she's pretty awesome!!! I absolutely can not wait for Jacklyn & Mitch's big day!!!
