I don't see many sunrises as I am a night owl...I must disclose that I was just going to bed when I saw what the sky was doing... I must also admit I didn't stay and watch, I just set the camera down and came back 6 hours later.
But it is beautiful.

Looking back at my page here, my last post was in 2017, which was the year I got very sick.
It has been more than 6 years since I posed to this page. I went through an illness that had me in the hospital for almost one year, and then it took another year and a half of recuperating learning how to walk and talk again and then putting on enough weight and gaining strength to be able to do anything at all. I’m still on a lot of medications and under the care of a doctor mostly for my nutritional abilities. I get iron infusions now and then and B12 shots and a few other things. I still have major digestive issues that will last the rest of my life. But I am still shooting pictures just not the way I used to. The advances in phones’, ability to take pictures has really made me not pick up a digital camera in six years. But I’ve been doing a little bit with the phone and playing with its capabilities, so I will post some of those.

My first time on an MCI scene as an EMT. I was not there for the height of the situation; however, Because I was on scene as an EMT, I did not feel I should take any photos until we were breaking down the equipment; but I wanted to get a few quick pictures of our teams at work.
