I have been trying to find the words for this post for awhile now...and I still can't seem to find the right ones. As a new year begins for me a new journey begins also...I have decided after much thought to take a very big step back from photography. This has been a very hard decision for me to make as this business has become my everything over the past 7 years.

When I started this business in 2018 I had always had an interest in photography and that since has turned into a passion for this business and creating lasting memories and moments for my clients. I would not be here without my clients and I am beyond blessed with the journeys that we have shared together.

The WHY when I started this business is now the WHY I must take a step back. I started this journey in the hopes of being a stay at home mom and being there for my kiddos. As the years have gone on we are now entering the season in which my kiddos are needing me more in the afternoons and weekends for practices, lessons, rodeos, homework and all the things. As I have been told several times they are only little once, so I take a step back to follow this path, my kiddos...my why.

This decision also has come because no one, my clients or my family deserves half of me. I have always prided myself in giving my clients my full heart and passion of capturing moments for them that they can cherish forever. I have always tried to find the right balance of work and family unfortunately, the lines are starting to blur. So as I step into this new journey I have decided that my family and full attention to them is where I need to be.

So as 2024 has ended and 2025 begins I step back with a heavy, but full heart (if that is all possible)heavy with the decision that I have made and leaving behind such wonderful clients and full to move forward with my family as a whole. Thank you so much to everyone of my clients that have supported me in my work to keep returning over the years, you have truly blessed me!

~ I will continue to fulfill all of the clients that I have on my books for this year already, gift certificates, and any conversations had about future sessions this year. I am also thinking about opening my books for a couple days of mini sessions in the fall (more to come on that later)

~ I am NOT saying good bye, but I will be only be taking a few bookings of established clients a month. My spring of 2025 is currently booked.
