I played caddy this week to Zaki when he shot for 7 hours a day at the San Diego Zoo. Sometimes I forget, in the midst of all his badassdlyness and determination, how little this 9 year old is. Here's to them not growing up too fast.

Zaki is back from San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari Park this weekend and his photo edits are already underway. We had a blast and are so impressed with all the conservation work they're doing- more on that soon. Until then, flipping a few birds your way.

We're having a super slow Sunday here. Zaki, after a self-inflicted "Just Dance" marathon, found our patron saint.

We were extremely impressed with the and their conservation efforts. Zaki photographed the tiger and bears there and I found a wild frog when Zaki took a little "me" time.

Zaki schlepped around for many hours yesterday carrying a Nikon D850 and a 28-300mm with his 9 year old biceps of steel. Stay tuned for new animal photos as he's in the process of editing now.
