I started this little side division last year when requests across the country started coming in to have regular photographs turned into a hand painting. From cell phone photos, wedding pictures, deceased pets and family members, existing executive portraits or founders, landscape photos, you name it I can paint it for you. The stories are so interesting and I can also frame the canvas too. Also offered is restoration and even changing the background of your photograph.

Which brings me to this next part. Do you have someone who is difficult to buy a gift for? This is something that will make them smile, maybe cry, and they will look at this everyday. I hope so, but there is a deadline in order to get the paintings to you by Christmas and right now it's December 4th, may be earlier.

If this is something you would love to have created, prices start at $189, you can go online, upload your photo, choose sizes, ect or you can call me directly 856-305-6008.

The thing about a commissioned portrait, it does not have to come from a formal sitting or a posed session indoors. It can come from the life you are actually living. The place your family actually loves.

I photographed this family on the back of their boat years ago. Out on the water, right where they spend their summers together.

Then I decided to paint it like the old masters technique through projection and I love how it turned out.

I paint every piece personally. Every face, every detail. This family trusted me with both the photograph and the painting, and that is something I do not take lightly.

If you have been thinking about doing something like this for your family, this summer is a good time to start.

Next Saturday, May 30th, I'm opening up a very small number of fairy portrait sessions for little girls ages 4 to 9. Your daughter gets to come into the studio, gets dressed in our custom made fairy dresses, and has a real portrait made of her exactly the way she is right now.

At this age they change so fast. These photos are the ones you pull out 20 years from now and remember exactly who she was.

Spots are limited and the custom set will be put in storage again

The Fairy Portrait Series is back for a few days in May.

If you missed it in April, this is your chance. If you were on the fence, this is me telling you the spots will go fast.

Your daughter becomes the subject of her own fairy tale portrait. One of a kind. Magical. The kind of thing that hangs on a wall for the rest of her life and never stops being special.

There are a limited number of spots and they will fill quickly.

Happy Mother’s Day:

"It captures her innocence. And she'll have it to take with her when she's older."

That's what she said when she saw it for the first time.

Then she held it up to a wall. And after I left, she moved it to the wall where everyone sees it. Every single day.

That's what a commissioned portrait does. It doesn't sit in a drawer or get lost in a
phone camera roll. It lives in the middle of your home and grows with your family.

"A Love That Grows With Her."

Hand-painted by me, personally, for them.

So perfect for Mother’s Day. This is how a family heirloom is made.

It starts with a vision, few poses, and beautiful subjects. A red sketch mapping out details before the brush strokes start.

"A Love That Grows With Her" began as a dream about a mother and her 10-year-old daughter at the perfect age. A hand-painted commissioned portrait. Every detail painted by me, by hand, from the photos we took together. Paint on canvas, made to last generations. julesportrait.com
