Every day, a new horror.
This boy looks like my son.
He’s scared. He’s confused. He’s alone. He’s being held down by several men wearing tactical gear and guns.
He is a kid. A quiet, scared kid.
I have no grace left for anyone who still supports this corrupt administration.

January was a heavy month. I found myself feeling overwhelmed and shocked. But then when those feelings faded, they gave way to anger and disgust.

Returning to instagram is something I’ve considered for months and yet, how? How do I show up after disappointing for a year to grow as a woman. When I have so much to say but this country is not listening to the hurt and fear that so many people are drowning in?

I don’t know what to do. What to say. What to share. I am still an artist in my heart. But that heart is heavy for this country. For the beautiful people that are hurting and those that are fighting for us.
