In the spring of 2024, I met one of the brightest souls to ever grace the photography industry. Attending Kayla’s workshop changed my life and my perspective on photography in so many ways. It opened my eyes to storytelling and how each session can be crafted to be one of a kind.

Kayla and her passion for not only her job, but the craft, her clients, the storytelling, is so so big and has been seen by so many. Watching her go through some pretty heavy health issues has been devastating. As a mama, wife, friend, creator, daughter and so many other hats she wears; this is unimaginable. I know Kayla has touched so many hearts in this industry. I mean, truly, when you think of this industry you think of Kayla Locke and her role in helping others find their own paths to storytelling.

Now, it’s time to help her and her family in anyway we can because she is going to go through the biggest battle anyone can fight; Brain Cancer, Glioblastoma, Stage 3-4.

Meet Zayland 💛💚

Oh Zay 🥹 my girl forever! I had so much fun crafting the most precious and meaningful first session with this 2027 Senior Rep! She chose a sunrise session and it was truly so magical. The light was beautiful, we found some fun places to shoot at, and she brought such great ideas! Plus, having mama Josie made the morning so smooth 😅 since the photographer’s brain needed a bit more coffee before it started working!
