My opinion on ghosting a photographer? It’s okay if you change your mind, your budget changes, or you decide to go in a different direction. What’s not okay is leaving someone hanging after they’ve taken the time to respond, answer questions, send pricing, or plan around your inquiry.
A simple “thank you, but I’ve decided to go another route” means the world to us. We’re real people behind the camera, running businesses and putting time into every inquiry. You don’t owe us a booking, but a little communication and respect goes a long way. 🫶🏻

I have a lot of new friends following me lately, so I thought it was time to re-introduce myself!

I’m Ada, the girl behind Ada Schauer Photography! I’ve been doing photography since fall of 2023, and what started as a hobby that I always had a passion for, has grown into a business I’m incredibly grateful for.

I love weddings, families, couples, and anything western inspired. My style is true to color, warm, and authentic. I want your photos to feel like you, natural, genuine, and full of the little moments that make your story yours. I’m not about making everything look overly posed or perfect!

I’ve also recently started hosting photography retreats, bringing photographers together to explore new places, create, and make new friendships along the way.

And if you’ve been thinking about booking with me, my books are officially open for 2027! I’d love to be part of your next chapter.

Honestly, just being nominated and getting to see my name up there means SO much. Small-town support really is something special, and I’m so thankful for every person who has booked with me, shared my work, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on.
