I am a wife to my wonderful husband and mom to 3 boys. Photography has always been a passion of mine since before my kids came around. I have spent more time and picked up my camera more since my kids are a little older. My interests are portraits, lifestyle, family, kids, engagements, and some event photography. Take a look and message if you are interested in scheduling a photography session!

Chasing the First Light of Autumn

There’s something special about watching the world wake up. The golden sunrise, the reflection on the water, and the vibrant fall colors all came together for this beautiful morning scene. 🍁📸
Sometimes, nature creates the perfect picture without needing anything extra.

The leaves are starting to change, bringing all those beautiful shades of green, gold, orange, and red. There's something special about fall, from the crisp air to the colorful scenery that makes it the perfect time to capture memories with the people who matter most.
If you've been thinking about updating your family photos, now is the time to get on the calendar! Fall sessions are limited, and those beautiful colors won't last forever.
Let's capture your family's memories this fall! Send me a message to schedule your session with Hobby for Hope Photography.

It's September!
Once again, it is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Every year, we are running a fundraiser to donate to the hematology and oncology patients Lurie Children's hospital. This is our fifth year running the fundraising!
For the first 3 years, we've fundraised for toys as donation. Since last year, we've switched gears to donate Snuggle Blankets. These Snuggles Blankets are oversized, super soft, and warm hoodies. They are like a giant warm hug when worn. They come in handy for those long hospital stays or even just short clinic visits as the hospital can be pretty chilly for the patients.
From now until right before Christmas, we kindly ask you to consider helping us bring as many snuggles as possible to the patients. Even just sharing our fundraising is much appreciated 💛

From behind my lens, the L becomes more than just a train—it’s lines, contrast, motion, and stories passing by in a split second.
