There’s something sacred about those first moments in new motherhood.

Not because they’re perfect or easy, but because everything about your world changes in an instant. Suddenly your heart exists outside of your body, and your days become filled with tiny stretches, sleepy sighs, late night rocking, and staring at someone you can’t believe is yours.

The first weeks are blurry and exhausting, yet somehow filled with so much magic. The newborn scrunch on your chest. Tiny fingers wrapped around yours. The feeling of becoming someone’s comfort, warmth, and safety all at once.

Life has a way of changing everything… sometimes slowly, sometimes all at once.

This season of my life has been full of huge shifts ..the kind that stretch you, break you open, and rebuild you into someone stronger than you ever imagined. The kind that make you reevaluate what matters, who matters, and how you want to show up in the world.

And honestly… it’s made what I do as a newborn photographer mean even more to me.
