🌅 WE'RE BACK ON THE GRID!!! 🙌

After almost a week without electricity and internet following Hurricane Isaias, I'm happy to say that Sunset Photography is officially back up and running!

First and foremost, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out, checked in on our family, offered support, and kept us in your prayers. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

To all of my amazing clients who have been patiently waiting on their galleries, emails, and messages; THANK YOU!

I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we've navigated the aftermath of the storm. Being without power and internet for nearly a week has certainly put us behind schedule, but I'm excited to finally get back to work!

📸 The editing marathon officially begins! I'll be working hard throughout the weekend to catch up and get those galleries delivered as quickly as possible. I can't wait for you to see your photos!

While we're incredibly thankful to have our power and internet restored, we know many families and businesses throughout the Florida Panhandle are still facing challenges.

We are still without power and internet, and we are now going on 5 days without service.

Thank you so much for your patience with the delays in editing and also the delays in responses. We are hoping it will only be a few more days, but at this point that is all up to FPL.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has reached out, checked in on us, and kept us in your prayers. Your support truly means so much to us during this time.

Please continue to keep the Florida Panhandle in your prayers, along with all of the first responders and line workers working tirelessly to help our communities recover.

We are safe and incredibly thankful.
Right now, we are in the cleanup process after Hurricane Isaias. At this time, we are still without electricity and internet, so responses may continue to be delayed. We are hopeful to be back up and running within the next 48 hours or so.

Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out, checked in on us, and kept us in your prayers. Your kindness, support, and encouragement mean more than we can say.

Due to Hurricane Isaias, Sunset Photography will be temporarily closed as we prepare for the storm and prioritize the safety of our family and community.

Depending on the impact of the hurricane, power outages, and internet disruptions, it may take us a few days to resume normal operations and respond to messages, emails, and inquiries.

🍂 Hello, Fall.

The first day of a new season always feels like a little reminder to slow down.

The kids are another year older. The holidays will be here before we know it. Schedules get busier, weekends fill up, and somehow another year starts slipping by.

Fall is one of my favorite times along the Emerald Coast; not necessarily because it suddenly feels like fall outside. 😂

But because this is the season when families start coming together a little more.

Beach evenings. Family visits. Football weekends. Cooler sunsets. Thanksgiving plans. And those ordinary moments that eventually become the ones we wish we could go back to.

So here's to a new season, making more memories, and holding onto a few of them along the way. 🤎

Still can't believe it has already been 25 years since that morning that changed all of our lives! I can vividly remember Mr Ruskowski turning on the TV in social studies class and then that night watching the news with my mom... In 2017 we took the boys to the reflection ponds and seeing all the names that were lost were humbling...

Hopefully we never forget the feeling of September 11th and return back to our United counter like September 12th!!!

What a Labor Day evening on Pensacola Beach!

The Blue Angel Beach Buzz, coming home from Cleveland, Ohio, got the full Emerald Coast experience; starting with dramatic, dark storm clouds rolling across the beach and ending beneath an absolutely beautiful Pensacola Beach sunset.

Same beach. Same evening. Two completely different skies. And honestly, that’s part of what makes photographing the Gulf Coast so special. You never quite know what Mother Nature is going to give you. 📸 🌊💙
