This is a difficult post for me to make today. Noah Desmangles Photography is closing its doors, and I won't be taking any more sessions. But I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you!!
When I started Noah Desmangles Photography 5 years ago... I had no idea what I was doing. This business started out as a hobby. During a turbulent time in our world's history, I went out and began taking photos of the sunset, only using my iPhone, then my dad gave me my 1st DSLR camera, and that soon set me off on the pathway to becoming a portrait photographer.
Over the past 5 years, I've captured seniors, families, and couples; I've done headshots, and photographed numerous events for my church, work, and many organizations... and I've enjoyed every minute of it. My job simply is being a storyteller.. I tell stories of triumph, celebration, and sometimes sadness. But a picture is worth a 1000 words, and there's always something wonderful about what's in front of the camera!
But now, it's time to move on. In 2 weeks, I'll be moving to Leesburg, FL, where I will continue my education working on my bachelor's degree in cybersecurity. I'm excited about what's ahead, and nervous, but always remember, nervousness is just excitement waiting to be seen.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of my clients who've trusted me to tell their story, thank you to the people of Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and the entire FL Panhandle for supporting me... running a photography business is not easy, takes a lot of time, courage, dedication, and strength... but I rolled up my sleeves and dived right into each session I was given. You will never know how much all of you mean to me!
I hope to continue my photography business endeavors when I'm in Leesburg, and I hope to be able to be a blessing to the people there and the surrounding areas as I was a blessing here in GB!
My best piece of advice to those who want to start a business: GO FOR IT... Martin Luther King, Jr said: "Courage is an inner resolution to go forward in spite of obstacles and frightening situations; cowardice is a submissive surrender to circumstance." You will do oh so well in whatever you do, always give it your best shot!!
Thank you all, and God bless each and every one of you! Not a goodbye, see you later!
Thank you,
Noah
