Sometimes figuring out the right caption is hard, but this one..I might have to overshare a little!!

Oh, Avery Allen, how I love you so! This senior is definitely one close to my heart. I’ve watched her over the last couple of years make hard decisions, laugh until she cries, and literally climb mountains with me. And now somehow, it’s time for her senior pictures.

We even share a last name, so naturally we tell people we’re cousins. HA!

Avery challenged me with this session, and I’m so thankful she did. She wanted a look I’ve never shot before, and honestly, only she could pull it off. So we went for it, and I’m pretty sure we nailed it.

And the coolest part? She’s wearing her grandma’s wedding dress for her senior pictures.

Avery, I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you’ve become. Getting to watch you grow up has been such a gift.

Okay, now let’s go back to the Rocky Mountains.

I told myself I was officially done shooting weddings… but for these two, I’ll happily come out of retirement! Kelsey and Connor are the absolute sweetest, and I cannot wait to capture their big day next summer!

Maternity sessions are extra special when they’re for one of your best friends. Megan is truly one of the most beautiful people, inside and out, and I’m so honored I got to capture this sweet season for her.

We’ve already gotten to raise one set of girls together, and now we get to do it all over again with TWO! I can’t wait to watch these little girls grow up together!

Do you ever meet people you instantly click with? That’s exactly how this entire extended family session felt. It was HOT hot, but this family smiled, laughed, and somehow managed to look amazing through all of it. Then, at the end of the session, they gave me a hand fan because they could clearly see I was one degree away from melting. I’d call that a successful session!
