Vanessa and I had a call last year and she told me how they don’t live in Pittsburgh (as a matter of fact, 90% of their wedding lived in Florida or elsewhere) so she was planning a destination wedding here in Pittsburgh, where her grandmother lives.
She and I clicked immediately on our Italian heritage and love for design. I have grown to love these two and their vibrancy.
I was so excited to see bursting color at The Hartwood Acres Mansion and experience the illumination of chateau/girly romance.
Brilliant team and an unforgettable day 🤌🏼

I am so amazed at how unique all of my couples and their celebrations are. It is not in me to photograph the same wedding over and over. It forces me to be creative and capture each story in the way it’s presented to me.

B+M had a day where the guests, from all over the country, showed UP in their fashionable best to what was desired to be a relaxed, warm day with a design that played off of the space. Everywhere you went were the sound of birds floating above 🔥

I love story boarding prior to a wedding in order to visually design my couple’s stories.
But this day unfolded so naturally. A small ceremony at Victoria’s childhood church to bask in family before their larger wedding in July.

My favorite thing in university was the three color rule.
In order to successfully implement three analogous colors, choose one as the dominant color and the other two for accents. Designers often follow the 60/30/10 rule, or photographers, use this theory guideline to create harmony. But as you can see, when being creative you can play - some wedding colors are more prominently displayed and some more muted or balanced throughout… that’s what is so fun about art 🖤
