Another really fun and adrenaline rushing photo session I did early last fall! Dustin contacted me and we met up to walk through the details and planning. Just another week later we met up again, including Shelby, but this time for *just* a photo session (wink wink). He had spent a lot of time convincing Shelby it was NOT going to be a proposal 😂 But of course it was!! It was a lot of fun and so sweet! Coming back after a few months away from posting here, still have so many sweet photos to share from last year, so I'm picking up where I left off! This family traveled in to spend time together and wanted some photos taken to remember the time! It was precious getting to see grandparents AND great grandparents with their grandbaby! Here are some of my favorites.

Another fun session from this summer—getting to meet and photograph the whole Thomas family! I’ve known Kyle and Rebekah for years (we used to be neighbors) and even photographed the birth of their first child. It was fun to have another opportunity to photograph the whole family this time. :)

A special family who I’ve known for over a decade.. the Burkholder’s! I love this family and wish we could spend more time together. I used to babysit their older daughter when she was a toddler, and now she’s almost old enough to get a drivers license! 🥲

It’s always a favorite for me to get to catch up with couples after photographing their wedding and photograph that next phase of life — parenthood! I had such a sweet time with Chelsea and Andrew when they got married a few years back, so seeing them again and meeting their precious boy Aiden was the best! He is so adorable 🥰 I also loved exploring this new spot with them! Such a gorgeous evening, even if we were all dripping from the humidity 😂

Love, love, looooved this sweet family session. Watching the kids run around and be fully in their element through exploring, throwing rocks in the water, climbing trees—everything about it was so natural and fun! Sarah and Kevin and I go waaay back, we all met some 15 years ago when we worked together at what was my first job, Panera Bread! It is always so fun to reconnect through the years and document the expansion of their family. Truly one of my favorite sessions to date! 🌞

A few years ago I was planning to photograph Sydney and Chris’s wedding but then ended up pregnant and due around their date. Since then they had sweet little Camden—he collected so many rocks and plants during the photo session haha, toddlers will be toddlers! Sydney’s parents also came along to get a few photos to celebrate 40 years of marriage! 🥳 It was so fun getting to hang out again and capture these moments!

The last time I saw Ashley and Matt it was to photograph her maternity photos. She was on bedrest at West Penn due to pregnancy complications so we photographed at the park right behind the hospital! Literally within days after that she gave birth to sweet little Elliott at only 29 weeks of pregnancy! That was all already over a year ago—this family has been through so much! I am so glad I got to see them again and meet this smiley little boy! I think he spent about 75% of the session clapping—he approved of my work I guess! 😂🥰
