I am LOVING how so many of my seniors are bringing flowers, bibles, instruments, books and other “props” that haven special meaning to them and truly showcase who they are. 🫶🏼

Taking a vote:
I almost put the second photo first but over the years you all have always voted color images over black & white’s. For me, it just depends on the photo but in this case I actually think I prefer the b&w!

During two of my senior sessions this year the mosquitoes were CRAZIER than usual! It was after we had all that rain! Sweet Mckenna and myself were getting eaten alive during her session and while senior sessions already require more detailed editing to begin with…editing mosquito bites took it to another level! Needless to say, my editing has been backed up a little because of it, lol🙃
I would say that weddings and senior sessions are comparable to how much editing they require, weddings for the volume of photos and seniors for the tedious detailed edits.
Buuuut, we made it alive and ended up with beautiful photos! I’m so appreciative for kind and understanding clients! 🫶🏼✨

McKenna!!!😍❤️ This gorgeous girl, her adorable black outfit and those RED heels!!!🤩 I absolutely loved everything about her look and how perfect it was for the charm of German Village! And can I just say, one of my favorite parts of this business is getting to meet the sweetest people. McKenna and her mom are two of them!🥹❤️ I genuinely enjoyed every minute I spent with these two beautiful ladies! McKenna, you are just as lovely on the inside as you are on the outside, and I hope you love these photos as much as I do!🥰

Between her absolutely PERFECT floral dress, the beautiful gardens, and that dreamy evening light, everything came together so perfectly! 🥹☀️ I mean, could her outfit have been any more perfect for this location?! I don’t think so! 🤩
And while I have your attention, I wanted to share a little availability update! 🥰
My calendar is winding down for the year, but I still have a couple of openings in October and November for senior sessions and full family sessions!

I have SO much to share from Ella’s senior session! 🥰 I absolutely love that she wanted her photos to truly reflect who she is during this season of her life.
Ella is a dancer and is involved in show choir and theater at school, and she also loves attending productions at the Ohio Theatre. So of course, she wanted to incorporate the theater into her senior photos, and I’m so glad we did! 😍
We completely lucked out with it being a holiday because downtown was practically empty, which almost never happens. And the SUN that day!! 🌞 That gorgeous, magical light made everything even better.
And can we talk about Ella’s outfits?! She had so many good ones, but this little black dress with those shoes in front of the Ohio Theatre was just PERFECT. 🤩
So much more of this beautiful girl’s session to come! 🖤

This summer has definitely tested us with the rain, heat + humidity and has caused more reschedules than I would’ve liked. 😅 But here’s a little something to know about me as your photographer… I’m pretty particular about the weather for your session, and there’s a reason for it. 🤎
If you hire me because you love the warmth, glow and sunshine you see in my photos, we need the sun to create that. I know some photographers love an overcast day, but give me sunshine, blue skies + those big puffy white clouds any day. ☀️☁️
I’m also not a fan of pushing through crazy heat + humidity just to avoid rescheduling. I want you to actually enjoy your session, not spend three hours sweaty, uncomfortable and wishing it was over. 😂 And honestly, I want to enjoy creating with you too!
Ohio weather is going to Ohio, so sometimes that means changing our plans. But just know when I recommend a reschedule, it’s because I want to give you the experience AND the photos you hired me for. 🫶🏼
And Taegan’s sunny senior session is a pretty good example of why I’ll always wait for the good light. ☀️🤎✨
