If I were planning a Pittsburgh wedding, these are 5 things I'd think about before ALMOST anything else.

1️⃣ Build in extra travel time.

Pittsburgh isn't exactly famous for straight roads and predictable traffic. 😂

2️⃣ Have a real weather backup plan. IT HAPPENS.

3️⃣ Think about the light when building your photo timeline.

4️⃣ Schedule time where you and your partner can actually breathe.

5️⃣ Hire vendors who communicate.

Your photographer, videographer, planner, DJ and venue shouldn't feel like completely separate teams.

When everyone communicates, your wedding day gets easier.

One of the biggest mistakes we see is packing every part of the day so tightly that there's no room for anything unexpected.

And weddings are FULL of unexpected moments.

A hug takes longer.

Grandma needs a minute.

😳 Your bridal party gets distracted.

❤️You want five extra minutes alone with your new spouse.

That's okay.

Build breathing room into your timeline.

Because the goal isn't to get through your wedding day.

🥂 Let me tell you... about one of my favorite weddings so far......

📸 They didn't want a wedding that felt like a photoshoot.

They wanted to actually experience their day.

So that's what we focused on.

Less stopping.

More movement.

More laughter.

More time with their people.

More moments where they could forget the cameras were even there.

And when the day was over, we wanted their photos to bring them right back into it.

That's the goal.

Not just beautiful photographs.

Photographs that make you remember how it felt.

...And honestly?

That's exactly why we don't expect you to know how to pose.

We're going to give you prompts.

We're going to move.

We're going to talk.

We're probably going to laugh at something completely ridiculous. 🤣😁🙌🏼

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, we'll make photographs that actually look like you.

You don't need to know how to pose. You just need to show up together.
