had an amazing session with this sweet mama + her girls last night🤍

The evenings have been absolutely stunning + the trees are starting to change into all the beautiful shades of fall🤭

With that being said, I’ve blocked off a few evenings that I currently have open for some mini sessions. Instead of a full day of minis, I’ve spread them out so each family can get the nice evening light

Minis are a great way to update your photos without the long time commitment, which is especially helpful for littles 🫶🏽

HEY friends! Wow, it really has been a minute😅 there so much to fill you all in on, but I’ll spare the long winded details for another time…

Here are the spark notes for ya:
- I had a baby! When I got pregnant I didn’t quite know what to expect in becoming a mom, so I took a VERY long + extended maternity leave.

- I’m REBRANDING?! So within the next week you guys will be seeing my transition from Destany Jada Photo to Embrace Photo Co. I’ve been working SO hard on this relaunch + it means so much to share with you all!

I have thought LONG + HARD about how to gather all the words to describe Katie + Ben and their wedding. After all my pondering, the only thing that continually comes to mind is Jesus 🕊️ nothing too complex, just simply Jesus at the very forefront.

I never experienced anything quite like it. After a total of 10 hours on the road and 8 hours of shooting, I have never felt so full of peace and rest. Serving Katie + Ben through photo was SO easy.

Every wedding I prepare with prayer and this was one of the first times I’ve experienced seeing not only myself covering a wedding in prayer but no joke EVERY person in attendance was also covering their day in prayer.

It was beautiful… they started their wedding in worship and replaced the traditional dancing with a prayer session.

Words cannot describe how honored I was to have a part in their day. Congratulations to the Millars 🤎🥰💫
