Kind of chic how I still get excited every single time I pick up my camera.

One day I’m photographing a wedding, the next I’m welcoming a brand new baby, celebrating a senior’s final year of high school, chasing little ones across the beach, or capturing a military family finally back together again.

It’s more than taking pretty pictures. It’s preserving the moments that become part of your family’s story.

No matter what season you’re in, those moments deserve to be remembered. ❤️

Maybe you’re sending your senior off for their final year of high school. Maybe your kids are growing way too fast. Maybe you’re expecting a baby, celebrating an engagement, or just realizing it’s been way too long since you’ve been in front of the camera together.

As we’re somehow already heading into mid-August, I wanted to share a quick photography update. My calendar is filling up quickly, and I only have a handful of sessions left between now and the end of November.

If you’ve been thinking about booking end-of-summer photos, fall family pictures, senior portraits, maternity, couples, or just updating the photos on your walls, now is the time to reach out.

Senior year has a way of flying by, and the best dates (especially those beautiful golden hour evenings in late summer and fall) always book first.

Whether you’re picturing the beach, a flower field, downtown Mystic, Harkness Memorial State Park, Bluff Point, or somewhere that’s uniquely you, we’ll create a session that feels relaxed, fun, and true to your personality.

I photograph high school seniors throughout Southeastern Connecticut, including Mystic, Stonington, Groton, Ledyard, Waterford, East Lyme, Norwich, and New London, and I also welcome seniors from Rhode Island and beyond.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who are always behind the camera, behind the scenes, behind the plans, and behind the magic. 🤍

Moms are usually the memory keepers… but somehow we end up missing from the memories.

So this is your reminder to hand someone else the phone. Get in the frame. Let the photo be imperfect. One day your children won’t care about the messy hair, the house, or the outfit — they’ll just want proof that you were there loving them through all of it.

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, emotional, chaotic, selfless, and sometimes completely feral… and somehow that’s part of the magic. ✨

And when you’re ready to freeze a little piece of this season of life — the chaos, the connection, the love, the real moments — I’d be honored to help tell your story.

Golden hour understood the assignment last night ✨🌼

Abby absolutely showed up for her senior session and made my job way too easy. Between the sunshine showing off and these flowers doing their thing, it was one of those sessions that just clicked from start to finish. She’s so fun, so outgoing, and brought the best energy the entire time 🤍

Also… getting to photograph both sisters lately?! I did her sister’s engagement session a few weeks ago and I’m still not over it. Truly love getting to capture these big moments for your families 🫶
