When Andrew was 6, he begged us to buy him catchers gear, the kind that came in a set….I mean begged us. “This is what I want to do!”

Well…here we are, about 12 years later. The last decade has been filled with hard work, dedication, sweat, heartbreak and triumph…. And food….so. Much. Food.

I fought back the ugly cry today as I watched my son take one more step toward his dreams.

Words will NEVER express the full depth of pride. Being his mom has been the best and most fulfilling experience…and worth every single load of laundry, penny spent and mile driven.

So, so happy

Well….this one was quick and easy, but emotional. It’s hard to believe we’re here…..Class of 2025. I’ve done so many senior shoots over the years, but this one is my favorite by far. Might have something to do with the kid. We did a quick session before Homecoming pics.

I can dress him up, but he’ll want to be on a ball field. Only The 2023 South Baseball team knows the true reason the dugout was named the Dojo that season. The masking tape is still there, but he’s the last of that team still playing HS ball. That season was a very memorable one….so we had to include it.

I find it’s very important to include things that are meaningful to your seniors and make sure to capture those moments.

Well….we did a thing today. I handed over creative control to my buddy Andres at Yellow Door.

Book your session now! Deadline for the yearbook will be here before you know it. Fall sports will fill up your schedule fast, but Andres still has slots left before school starts.

Also….I can’t believe this is happening.
