It was so cool to capture these moments tonight. Candid storytelling + documentary style family photo sessions are something that have absolutely captured my heart. I imagine looking back on photos, like this 15 years from now will mean so much to familiesšŸ¤

The summer Hal turned S E V E NšŸ§” šŸ„³šŸŽ‚Happiest birthday to the girl full of joy + life. I love you beyond words, my sweet Hallelujah.

You would think, as a photographer, I would take my daughters photos all the time! The opposite is true for me, actually. I have even missed birthday photos over the years! Her birthday was a week or so ago and time is passing so quickly. So I carved out time to make sure I captured this sweet girl, and I am so very thankful we made it happen!

I am pondering offering something special in honor of her birthday. Tell me in the comments any ideas you have! I want something a little different than the usual ā€œsessionā€ā€¦maybe something styled? Or a location type thing? Any ideas are much appreciated!
