As a photographer, I've been fortunate enough to be tasked with capturing memories of several friends' big life events. Beth and Zack's wedding reception was a joy to photograph, and the photos represent so much of their personalities. Here are just a few of my favorite shots of the couple and their family.

Long time no post! This past year+ has been crazy for Bright Eyes Photos: NW, just as I know it has been for all of you. Thank you to all of you who continue to trust me to capture your memories and help enhance your businesses' web presences safely while we work through this difficult time for us all as global citizens.
There have been a few bright spots in the past year+, including the opportunity for me to reconnect with one of my college friends and then photograph their wedding to their wonderful partner last month, and I've also finally updated my website (https://www.brighteyesphotosnw.com).

PSA: If you own a business, go claim your Google listing with Google My Business.

Leaving your listing unclaimed means someone else could try to claim it and that people can suggest edits and post photos to your listing without your permission.

Also, with Google My Business, you get the added benefit of being able to make sure all of your listing info is up-to-date and that no one can post random photos without your OK, among other things.

It's a simple but important process. Just find your listing, click on "Own this business?" and link it to whichever Gmail account you use for business.

To clarify: I am not paid by Google to post this info. I am just aware of these dangers and benefits from working in media and owning my own business.
