Hey friends of Layer 4 Photography! This awesome dog needs a good home. Visit Hooves & Paws of the Upstate Rescue's page and take a look at Josh. He's deaf but a great boy. He loves walks, car rides, and being loved. He's house broken. But he can't share immediate space with other dogs. He is completely fine when dogs are in other kennels, across fences, leashed at a distance, etc. He just doesn't do well sharing the same space. But, somewhere out there is a dog loving family who maybe lost their dog and needs another one...even to love for just a little while. He deserves a chance! Please share with that friend who comes to mind! If any of you are a good fit, think and pray about adopting this dog. And if you do, let me know, and I'll hook you up with some photo shoot goodies!
Josh came to Hooves & Paws in September of 2013. Yes, over THREE years ago!!! He was severely emaciated, deaf, and had terrible skin allergies. He also has limited tolerance of other dogs in his immediate space, and would be best suited for a home with no other dogs. But he is completely respectful of dogs across fences, baby gates, or leashed out of his immediate space. He is house broken and thrives with space to roam inside, but he is fearful of being crated or closed in small spaces...He's deaf, so who can blame him? Up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative...Josh is waiting for a special home.
He's a mama's boy, a people dog, and needs a companion owner.
Hooves & Paws has closed the rescue side of who we are. And, as of now, Josh is the last dog left! That means every animal who came thru our doors well enough to make to a forever home did...except Josh! This boy needs to join that list of successes. To help make that happen, an approved home can adopt Josh at NO COST. Message us here, email [email protected], or call/text 864-327-7772 to get your application rolling today! Let's not let our legacy come down to the one we failed. He's waiting...
