I've been obsessed with photography since I was old enough to hold a camera, point, and shoot. I have built my career around my passion for helping others. After earning my undergraduate degree from Purdue University, I went on to receive a Masters of Public Health from Indiana University School of Medicine. Both my undergraduate and graduate work focused on human sexuality, women's health, busine

ss, and entrepreneurship and my professional career has also focused on these topics. And as the Owner/Photographer of Photog Boss Babe, I dedicate time to helping others feel empowered and beautiful in front of the camera and into their future. My strength is drawn from 3 leading men in my life... each day is filled with hugs, homework, and Wii with three rambunctious boys and an amazing husband. Life is always an adventure in the Photog Boss Babe home and I feel blessed and grateful for life's simple pleasures.

Over the years, my love for photography turned from hobby to career. In 2013, I ventured out to marry these passions of photography with women's empowerment and sexuality by starting Belle Amie Photography, which was originally focused on bo***ir photography. However, in time, I discovered my passions and talents for other types of photography as well, including family, engagement, newborn, senior photos, etc. Now I get to help all people SEE themselves as just as beautiful on the outside as they truly are inside. My mission is to ensure that ALL individuals feel empowered in all aspects of their lives. I want to help them see themselves through any lens they choose... to see their inner beauty reflected from the inside, out. I want to help you feel beautiful, be bold, and to look stunningly & uniquely YOU!

I had SO much fun photographing the Whiteland Youth Cheer girls this year! There’s just something about getting to watch these kiddos grow, gain confidence, and show off a little personality in front of the camera. And while I definitely miss my cheer coaching days sometimes, I LOVE that I still get to be part of it this way.

And coaches, team parents, league directors… if your sports team needs photos this season, LET ME KNOW!

There’s something so beautiful about slowing a wedding day down for just a few minutes and letting the couple simply be together.

No timeline. No guests watching. No pressure to perform.
Just the two of them, a gorgeous space, a little direction from me, and all of those tiny in-between moments that happen naturally when they’re focused on each other.

Some of my favorite wedding portraits aren’t the perfectly posed ones — they’re the moments between poses, the way they look at each other, the quiet touches, and those little times where they completely forget I’m standing there with a camera. These are the photographs that deserve a place on the wall.

Timeless. Romantic. Completely them.

This week on Local Lens with Photog Boss, I stopped by Prime IV Hydration & Wellness in Greenwood to learn more about what they do and why so many people swear by it.

I’ll be honest. I’ve been a client for years, but I wanted to go beyond the IV bags and pretty lobby and really understand the science, the services, and the people behind the business.

What I found was a team that genuinely cares about helping people feel better. Whether you’re looking for hydration, recovery, immune support, energy boosts, vitamin therapy, or just a little self-care, they take the time to explain your options and help you find what works for you.

As a small business owner, mom, photographer, community volunteer, and someone who occasionally forgets that water is important, I’ve definitely had my fair share of visits.
