BIG NEWS!!! Photog Boss officially has a new studio!

After spending time at the first floor of Grafton Peek Social Hall on the corner of Main and Madison, then spending the last 8 months in a transitional studio space inside Folktale Greenwood on Madison Ave (BOTH with gorgeous historic charm and excellent wedding venues!), it's easy to say Old Town has my heart. So it only feels right that Photog Boss is staying right here on Madison Ave.

I signed a long-term lease at 516 N. Madison Ave. in Greenwood, and I am SO excited for what this space is going to become.

The new second-floor studio will be perfect for:
- Portraits
- Headshots
- Branding sessions
- Maternity
- Lifestyle newborn
- Bo***ir.. and creative studio sessions and more (as well as photography studio rental availability for other local photogs... because COMMUNITY over COMPETITION is how we roll!)

And here is the BIG new feature… The space will also be available as a BRIDAL GETTING READY SUITE for couples getting married in the Greenwood area. It will be an affordable, beautiful, private spot for brides and their favorite people to get ready, hang out, have hair and makeup done, sip coffee, and get into their dresses the morning of the big day. Basically, all the getting-ready photos, all the good lighting, all the girl gang energy, and none of the “where are we going to put everyone?” chaos.

The outside is already giving all the charm, and the inside is being renovated and brought to life. Photos of the studio space, bo***ir bedroom, and relaxing areas are coming soon, and I cannot wait to show you! This feels like such a huge next chapter for Photog Boss. More room. More privacy. More creative space. More Old Town Greenwood charm. More ways to serve my clients in a space that feels beautiful, intentional, and completely me.

And truly, THANK YOU. Thank you to every client who has trusted me with your weddings, babies, families, seniors, businesses, bo***ir, headshots, events, milestones, and real-life moments. Every booking, referral, review, share, tag, recommendation, and “you need to call Charrie” has helped make this possible. Photog Boss has grown because of the people who keep showing up for me, and I do not take that lightly.

There is something incredibly powerful about stripping away the pressure, expectations, and noise of a traditional wedding day and focusing on what truly matters: the commitment between two people deeply in love.

That’s exactly what Willie & Joseph did for their intimate Indiana State House elopement in downtown Indianapolis.
Surrounded by timeless architecture, warm golden light, and the quiet excitement of the day finally arriving, these two created a wedding experience that felt intentional, elegant, emotional, and completely their own. And honestly? It was magic.

The Indiana State House provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and portraits. Between the marble floors, grand staircases, glowing chandeliers, and historic charm, every corner felt cinematic. Their style fit the space beautifully. Classic black-and-white tuxedos. Sophisticated details. Genuine emotion. No distractions. Just them.

One of my favorite parts of the day was how calm everything felt.No rushing between a dozen locations. No overwhelming timelines. No pressure to entertain hundreds of guests. Instead, Willie & Joseph chose an intimate wedding experience centered around connection, presence, and celebrating their relationship in a way that actually felt authentic to them.

After their ceremony and portraits at the State House, they headed to the beautiful InterContinental Indianapolis for a private mini reception for just the two of them. And honestly? It was one of the most romantic things I’ve ever photographed.
A quiet dinner. Drinks together as newlyweds. Time to breathe.
Time to soak it all in.

It reminded me that weddings do not have to be huge to be meaningful. In fact, some of the most emotional and memorable wedding days I photograph are intimate elopements and micro weddings right here in Indianapolis.

Bailey + Will. Whew. What a BEAUTIFUL day at the Ritz Charles!

The soft blush details. The classy, romantic vibes. The way Will looked at Bailey all day like she was the only person in the room. And Bailey? Absolute bridal perfection. Elegant, stunning, and somehow still completely down to earth and giggling through the day. My favorite kind of bride.

These two have the kind of love that feels calm and exciting all at once. The kind where you can just tell they’re best friends underneath all the wedding magic. And honestly… those are always the marriages that make me emotional behind the camera.

Can we also talk about THIS DRESS. The lace sleeves. The veil. The tattoo peeking through. Every single detail fit her perfectly and photographed like an absolute dream. Add in the classy Ritz Charles backdrop and it felt like a luxury editorial straight out of a magazine.

And listen… the close-up ring shot with her hand wrapped around him? Obsessed. The kisses under that warm archway? Obsessed. The way they naturally melt into each other in every frame? DOUBLE obsessed.

Photographing weddings like this reminds me exactly why I love what I do so much. Real connection. Real emotion. Real joy. And a whole lot of beauty mixed in between.

Some sessions stay with you forever.
The Strickler family adoption was one of them.

Last week, I had the absolute honor of photographing one of the sweetest, most emotional days imaginable as these two precious boys officially became part of their forever family… and listen… I was out there trying to hold it together behind the camera like a professional while absolutely bawling like a full blown photog baby.

The tiny hands holding each other.
The excitement of sitting in the judge’s chair.
The little gavel moments.
The proud smiles from mom and dad.
The laughter. The chaos. The LOVE.

It was one of those reminders that photography is so much more than “taking pictures.” These are the moments families will hold onto forever. The kind of images little boys will look back on years from now and realize just how deeply they were wanted, chosen, celebrated, and loved.

And those boys? Completely stole the courtroom and honestly probably could’ve run the entire county by the end of the session.

To my childhood friend, Kyle and his beautiful wife, Chelsea… thank you for trusting me with something this meaningful. What an incredible privilege it was to witness and document your adoption day. My heart is still recovering in the best way.

MIA. In her cap and gown era… and absolutely owning it.

Holcomb Gardens showed off a little… but let’s be honest, Mia stole the whole scene.

That blue cap against that glowing green backdrop… unreal. The confidence. The smile. The little bit of sass mixed with “I did it”… yeah, that’s the magic right there. This is exactly why I love cap and gown sessions. It’s not just about graduating… it’s about stepping into who you’re becoming.

And can we talk about that hat toss?! Because she didn’t just toss it… she *meant* it. Main character energy all the way.

Mia, you made this session effortless. Beautiful, fun, and so completely YOU.

Some seniors you photograph… and you just know you’ve been watching something really special unfold in real time.

Eli is absolutely one of those.

Listen… if you’ve ever been around Eli for more than five minutes, you already know… he does not stop laughing. Ever. I’m pretty sure there is not a single serious photo in existence unless I forced it… and even then, it lasted about 1.3 seconds.

Now he’s getting ready to graduate from Whiteland and step into his next chapter becoming a journeyman… and I have zero doubt he’s going to absolutely crush that too. Hard worker. Good heart. Great sense of humor. That combination wins every time.

Also… we need to talk about his people for a second. His mama? The sweetest. His girlfriend? ADORABLE. The love and support around him is so real… and you can see it in every single photo.

Eli… don’t ever lose that energy. Seriously. The world needs more of it… and frankly, so do the rest of us who enjoy a good laugh on set.

So proud of you. Now go graduate and keep making people laugh wherever you land.
