🌟Pay what you can 🌟

Ive had the opportunity to watch this little bundle of joy grow up! Unfortunately he has undergone extensive medical treatments & procedures since birth! He was diagnosed with a rare congenital birth defect, a long gap Esophageal Atresia/Tracheoesophageal Fistula. What this means is that Liam's esophagus was in two pieces when he was born, and he didn't have much esophagus to work with when repairing it. There are only two specialists in the country for his condition, one being in Florida, and the other in Boston. He was finally able to get seen in Boston where he underwent surgery today to see the extent of his defect. Liam's esophagus is eroding from stomach acid due to his stomach being so high in his chest. They'll be going in through his belly, pulling his esophagus down past his diaphragm, using part of his stomach to make up the missing esophagus, and tacking his stomach in place.

I am hosting a pay what you can session in Marshall, Tx at ETBU! All proceeds will go to Liam’s parents to help with lodging & food. He undergoes a pretty extensive surgery on Tuesday( 10/14) and will be there for a few weeks.
