Here’s a collection of Southeast Tibet region over the past 4 years since I started my personal life-long project: “The Mystery of Tibet Mountains” Up until this year I collected almost 4 different seasons image about these untouched lands. From ice & snow, summer flowers, Fall color. You can see Tibet mountains aren’t just rock and snow. It’c actually beyond many people’s imagination. Fjord Trees —Chilean Fjord. An adventure with this April. One of the most memorable experience is viewing these fascinating Coigue tree form. They all have different shape and form, like a person standing on the shore and the slopes of Chilean Fjord. They’re indeed the souls of Chilean Fjord. On this particular morning, these Coigue trees were enjoying some great view and light of the Fjord. Hope you enjoy this view as well!

Karst Falls—Guangxi, China. A bit part from Tibet. Here’s a image I took in Guangxi this year. Guangxi Province is well known for its Karst Landform. All the spires rising from the ground. It’s definitely one of the special places in China. I managed to find some unique perspective of these unique landforms. Hope you enjoy!

Last Bloom —Southeast Tibet. Follow up last post. Here‘s another image from the same region. Was a bit late for the flowers season in this particular valley. But I managed to find some last minute bloom framing a beautiful sunset reflection of Mt. Shura Hingi. You probably won't find any images of it online. Hope you enjoy！

Rainbow Garden —Southeast Tibet. Haven't spent much time on instagram lately but I will share more often now. Here’s a new shot I made in the past summer. A place I’ve tried to enter since 2016 due the difficulty of local Tibetan people preventing us going inside theses sacred place. After years of communication and making friends with them. Finally I was able to go inside and explore! I’ve not seen more flowers species anywhere else. In the range you see here, I saw more than 20 different kinds of wildflowers. Pretty crazy huh... Hope you enjoy this image!

This is a very special image to me. The mysterious and yet powerful feeling of the mountains. One of my personal favourites for sure. Shark's fin-like peak, Mt.Salakashu, which named by local Tibetan, reveal itself from stormy weather. Include the forest here for scale. In my opinion, this kind of shot really shows the power and magnificent side of Himalaya Mountains.

“Fall Valley” I had been trying to get a shot of this valley in Southeast Tibet for almost 3 years until last Fall. I finally got a shot I’m pretty happy with. What’s the problem of this valley? Well, the peaks you see here are 6000+ meters(19600+ft), and the valley here is around 3000 meters. The elevation difference is significant. Moisture from Indian Ocean constantly coming in this region of Tibet. So oftentimes, there’s clouds blocking the peaks. Plus, the peak color of this valley is a little hard to predict. I had tried several times before, either too early or too late. In the end, finally got it. The Southeast part of Tibet is full of life and color. Hope you enjoy!
