Your bridal shoes deserve just as much thought as your dress ✨

As a photographer, shoes can completely elevate your detail photos and flat lays. The texture, shape, color, and little details you choose help tell the full story of your wedding day. Think of them as part of the overall aesthetic — not just something hidden under your dress.

But beauty also needs to meet practicality 👰🏼‍♀️
Getting married in a field, garden, or uneven outdoor space? A thin stiletto heel may sink into the ground all day long. Chunkier heels, wedges, or block heels photograph beautifully and make walking so much easier and more comfortable.

And here’s a tip for my brides and bridesmaids planning ahead on a budget:
Don’t sleep on stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack. The key is consistency. Pop in often months before the wedding instead of waiting last minute. That’s usually how you score those luxe-looking bridal heels and bridesmaid shoes for a fraction of the price ✨

I recently got to hang out with Rachel for her branding session, and it was pure magic. Rachel’s vision was to capture fresh headshots right in her own element. My goal? Bring out the cozy, welcoming warmth of her office and the incredibly warm spirit Rachel has.

After a little directing and a lot of hyping her up, Rachel absolutely rocked the spotlight! 🌟 (Swipe to see her glowing!)

We started Michelle and Pryianka’s engagement session in classic, timeless American styles, running through the open fields. Then, they completely took my breath away by changing into their stunning lengha and kurta.

The colors, the culture, the love—it was absolute magic against the golden hour backdrop.
