A little wedding tip for future brides!

One of the best things you can do for your photographer is put together a small details box before the wedding day.

Before your photographer arrives, gather things like your rings, invitation suite, perfume/cologne, jewelry, vow books, shoes, heirlooms, boutonnières, and even a few loose flowers from your florist if possible.

Detail photos are usually the very first thing I photograph when I arrive. While you’re getting hair and makeup finished, I can start documenting all the little pieces of your day without having to track down items from three different bags and two different hotel rooms!😂

It makes the morning run smoother, saves time, and helps create those beautiful detail photos you’ll love looking back on for years to come.

Wedding days almost always run a little behind. Adding extra time between major events helps keep the day feeling relaxed instead of rushed.

2️⃣ Consider a First Look

A first look allows you to get many of your portraits done before the ceremony, giving you more time to enjoy cocktail hour and celebrate with your guests afterward.

3️⃣ Schedule Family Photos Immediately After the Ceremony

Everyone is already gathered in one place, making family portraits much faster and easier. Trust me, tracking down Uncle Bob after cocktail hour is a challenge. 😅

4️⃣ Leave Time for Bridal Portraits Before the Ceremony

Your wedding dress only gets worn once. Setting aside even 15–20 minutes before guests arrive ensures you have beautiful portraits of just you before the day starts flying by.

5️⃣ Don’t Forget Time for the Little Moments

Some of the best memories aren’t on the timeline at all. the hugs, happy tears, laughs with your friends, and quiet moments together. Leave room to simply enjoy your day.

They say your wedding day flies by.

One minute you’re walking down the aisle, the next you’re waving goodbye from a Jeep covered in “love notes” (we all seen the Reel I posted about the jeep. 😅)

But tucked between all the big moments are the little ones; the forehead kisses, the nervous smiles, the way they look at each other when nobody else is watching.

One last evening of sandy toes, cool water, tiny hands collecting treasures, and moms sitting still long enough to soak it all in.

Client Closet Spotlight

When I started building my client closet, I knew I wanted to do things differently.

Too often, client closets stop at a size L or don’t exist at all for curvy and plus-size clients. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and taken care of during their session, regardless of the number on a clothing tag.

My client closet is still growing, but I’m proud to share the first pieces in the collection:

Yesterday’s creek minis were full of muddy toes, chaos, laughter, and the sweetest little moments. Honestly one of my favorite session days yet. 🖤
