Often I find myself lost in my own thoughts, perhaps a little more lost than I expect. I can always find my way back when I change my environment. Simple hike in the woods, drive in a car or other simple change will usually break the endless cycle of swirling thoughts and inaction. Change your environment to realign yourself.
