From a few days ago, in Athens 🇬🇷

Yep, yesterday is one of those days that I'll think about when I'm missing my kids when they're gone from our house ... it was hard and very hot, but hey, we can do hard things! We struck out to see the Changing of the Guards and then hiked Lycabettus Hill (which, I would not call a hill 🤣) and got the most amazing view of the city (and could even see the smoke from the wild fires) .. and the Parthenon (which will always be one of the top, most impressive / coolest man-made things I've ever seen).

On our way home we found a fantastic restaurant (where the boys ate fresh fish - including massive prawns 🦐) and had a banquet feast.

I'm not sure how many miles we've walked, but seeing a new place on foot is my far my fav way to see it! We're bone tired at the end of every day and it's just so, so good.

While we didn't get a pic of the whole crew at the top (attitudes were ripe after the hike in the heat 🙈) we did get a few great pics at dinner thanks to our waiter, so I'm callin' it a win!
