I didn’t just meet these babies… I already knew them.

I knew their mamas in white dresses. I knew their dads, nervous and teary-eyed at the end of an aisle.

And now here these little ones are; wrapped in blankets, brand new, and already so loved.

Several of my past wedding couples are welcoming new babies this year and my heart is completely full! So grateful to photograph each season for such incredible families ❤️

It’s true!! Your wedding day brings J O Y to everyone, including me. The smiles, the excitement, the tears of happiness are just a few of the emotions that each of us experience throughout the day.

16 years of photographing weddings and my heart still flutters as I pull into the venue. Walking in to greet the bride and her girls gives my nervous excitement its chance to make its way from the butterflies in my stomach to the shutter release of my camera.

The way the whole world shrinks down to just this tiny person at 3am.

Those days feel infinite when you’re in them… and then suddenly, they’re gone.

I photograph at-home newborn sessions because I believe those first slow, soft, sleepy days deserve to be remembered exactly as they were.
Not perfect. Just real.
