If you asked me what my favorite part of this job is, it’s this right here.

I’ve had the honor of documenting the Ritterbands through almost every big milestone. Engagement, wedding days, bringing their babies home and now just hanging out on a normal Sunday evening. Letting the girls run barefoot, cuddling the pups, drawing with chalk on the driveway and dancing in the dining room.

There is so much comfort and love in this family and getting to capture it year after year means the world to me. ❤️

Working alongside Tide the Knot for over 10 years is always special. It takes an adventurous, easygoing couple to embrace Florida’s wind, rain chances and meeting their photographer right before walking down the aisle.

Despite a massive downpour just before Morgan and Peter’s reception and everything getting completely soaked, they rolled with it all with such grace. They kept laughing, mingling and soaking in every moment like nothing could dampen their joy. Their love and happiness were truly contagious and I’m beyond grateful to have been there to witness and capture it all.

If there’s one thing a long career as a creative entrepreneur teaches you, it’s that life moves in seasons and family will always come first.

Over the last year and a half, my focus naturally shifted to advocate fiercely for my child through a heavy season. Stepping up for my family was and is the most important work I’ve ever done and choosing to slow my calendar down was an easy decision.

A shift in capacity doesn’t change sixteen years of foundation, passion or skill. Throughout every season my standard of care for the families and couples behind my lens has never wavered, if anything, this past year brought a whole new depth of perspective, heart and presence to the art I create for you.

My calendar is open for the seasons ahead. Deeply grateful for this meaningful work and every story waiting to be captured. 🤍

Reminiscing on this intimate celebration of Sam and Bill at the beautiful Powel Crosley Estate

I have so many favorite memories from this day, but one that truly stands out was when I saw Dad capturing couple portraits from a distance. So of course I had to grab a photo of him and invite him closer so he could get an even better view.

I truly love including your family and friends when I see them sneaking a quick photo on your day. Instead of pushing them back, I often pull them closer so they can step right in, share the space and grab their own memory to keep. To me, these shared moments are what wedding days are all about ❤️
