I am a commercially published photographer based in Ansonia, Ohio. As you can tell by my portfolio, I enjoy clean and clear images. My goal is to provide every client with heirloom quality images that can be passed down for generations. My pink Kodak 35mm film camera was finally retired after many years of service and that was before I was a teenager. I have a tub full of 4x6 prints that I used my

weekly allowance to develop. When I switched to DSLR cameras I chose Canon because I was more familiar with that brand. I use professional quality camera bodies and lenses to preserve your memories. I look forward to hearing from you!

I don't usually put black and white versions out there for family sessions but these guys really popped in those strong black and whites. We recently moved. When we were looking at the property in July with our realtor, I could see it for what it could be, both inside and out. It needed so much work inside (and still does) but, I didn't imagine the colors outside would be as spectacular as they actually would be a few months later.

Tonight the light was spot on and I told the kids to grab something out of their closets. We were going to take come fall pics. These were taken in our front yard, by the driveway and in our side yard by the pond. I so blessed with our new home. I hope to take many clients' family pictures right here in my yard in the years to come.

I threw in a few of my kids' antics too because...well that's how they are in real life. They needed no prompts to be crazy. :)

I'm not even done editing this session yet but I had to stop and share one of my favorite families ever. Emily has been a friend since I moved back to Ohio 8 years ago. I met her at my church and then our paths crossed again when our kids were both in the same 4H group. I've been taking their photos for a few years now but this is my favorite session. We had amazing fall colors and perfect weather and this family is just so much fun to watch.
Also, I asked Emily if they could each bring a musical instrument as they are all very talented and I've even taken videos during the worship service at our church because I adore Emily's cello playing. That full warm sound just fills in all the gaps in the music.

Mackanzie and her horses couldn't take a bad photo if they tried. Beautiful warm evening light really made the colors pop. Winnie, the roan, just didn't wanna stand still but we managed to get her attention for a few good portraits. Lena, the palomino, was a little calmer.
