We love to focus on the real moments, candid and timeless pieces to remember each chapter in our lives. Photos should be inspired by the people who are in them because we are all a little bit different and maybe a little be crazy but what makes us connect together and laugh together is truly precious to capture.

The holiday cards have started to arrive ! I like to help keep family’s photos a surprise because I know it’s hard work getting everything organized to pull off family photos in the fall and get those cards done! I also assume that all of your aunts and third cousins follow me so I definitely don’t want to spoil the surprise ! 😂

Hanging on to every last leaf and 70 degree evening right now. How amazing has this fall been ? I probably say this every year, but I think this is the best fall color I've ever seen since moving to South Carolina! What do you think?

Recently I’ve happened upon many mamas while out and about who are in the thick of it with a two-ish year old and newborn and I’ve made a point to tell the moms, you’re doing great, and it’s going to get better. Maybe they don’t need to hear that, but I know when I was there, I sure did. Some nights felt impossible and now we are in this new age of flexible bedtimes and longer leashes and I’m just so proud of how much it took to get us here, how much it took to get ME here. So mamas, I see you, and the future isn’t something to rush, but I promise, it changes, and you are doing friggin awesome !

They’re not even parents yet and they’ve got it so figured out! This open air living room/back patio, cool autumn air with newborn snuggles and some PSL. Sounds like a little bit of heaven!

Introducing: my (newest!) nephew ! Carson William arrived two weeks ago determined to remind us that actually trying to plan your summer vacation road trip around a baby’s due date is just plain silly 😜 but so thankful he arrived early and I got to spend a few days last week as his room mate in charge of the late evening shift 😍
So incredibly proud of his amazing parents and how they’ve embraced the overwhelming love, tenderness and sleep deprivation as they’ve welcomed their son.
AND come on !!! …this big bro 🐕 I just can’t. Sweetest pup who tried to steal the show 📸

☀️ Can you believe summer is almost over ? August is the month I send my first baby to KINDERGARTEN 😱 how on earth did we get here. Any tips for not crying all day after i drop her off in a few weeks? For now we will be soaking up the pool days as much as we can these last few weeks! 🏊‍♀️

Life is wonderful about bringing great people into your life in some seasons and then back again in other seasons. I worked with Fabio for years as he would travel here from Brazil or we would both meet in France and we had a lot of fun and worked really hard, and now to capture him and his lovely wife as brand new parents was such a joy and honor (and parenting is also fun and really hard work 🤣)
Thank you for letting me be a small part to welcoming this precious little boy! 💙 You guys are doing such a great job being so far from family and the best is yet to come!

After extended family sessions the second highest number of inquiries I’ve been getting is for first birthdays !! All those quarantine babies are ready for their time to shine !! Whether it’s photos of their first birthday party, first cake or their favorite one year old activity (🎈🛁🌳) I am here and ready for all these summer birthdays ! 🎂

Reason # 481 that I love newborn sessions at home... toddlers are in their comfort zone and not trying to find the boundaries of a new location. And comfort zone sometimes means really sweet things like kissing your baby brother unprompted.😘⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
