Hey everyone! Long time no see! š
Yep - weāre still here! Itās been an exciting time with a lot of projects in the works, but for now I want to share an incredible wedding that will always sit close to my heart. ā¤ļø āØāØWhen Bridget & Steven reached out last year I realized quickly they were not planning the typical wedding. They were asking for me to cover four days of their wedding week in Asheville. Being expats living in England, they really wanted to spend quality time with their friends and family here in the states they donāt often get to see. It was such a cool experience spending so much time with their family & friends. There was rehearsal diners, trivia nights, the full wedding day, goodbye lunches & we even had a special portrait session for Bridget & Steven at some of the highest elevations in North Carolina.
These are just a few of my favorite moments that happened throughout the wedding day. Iāll never forget Bridgettās vivacious nature and the way she could pull anyone into having a good timeā¦ ((She actually pulled me onto the dance floor the night of the wedding, took my camera & took photos of me!!!)) Iāll never forget Stevenās face when he opened the letter from his bride just moments before the ceremony. Iāll never forget the children that had a great time the whole weekend & the amazing Kolsch beer that one of their friends brewed specifically for their wedding!
To top it off - they gave me an incredibly special giftā¦ It was a beautiful leather notebook from Aspinal of London! I use it everyday. What an absolutely amazing couple. āØāØThank you Bridget and Steven for having us document your story and your wedding! It means the world you chose us! Iām gonna be sharing more of my favorite stories the next few days. Be on the lookout! š
