Willow & Roots Photography Where memories take Root We are starting out slowly and just doing this on the side as we do have full time jobs and families.

Let's see...there are 2 of us -Megan & Jessica- hence the M&J :) anyways we have been best friends for over 20 years and have dreamed of starting our own photography business since we were in high school. We absolutely love taking pictures and while we are not professionals (yet) we are learning as we go and want to provide you with the very best pictures we can!

First ever beach session in the books! 🌊🤍

I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous going into this one. Beach lighting is SO different from what I’m used to, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I think we can officially say… it turned out pretty dang good! 😍

I absolutely loved getting to step outside my usual scenery and try something new. And now I’m thinking I might need to make beach sessions a regular thing. 😂🌴

Sidenote: If anyone wants to take me along for beach pictures, I’m available for this assignment anytime. 😂🙋‍♀️📸

Another beautiful evening in the flower fields, but this one is extra special. 💙🌼

From their engagement session, to their wedding day, and now maternity photos... what an incredible year this sweet couple has had. It has been such an honor to be there to capture each of these milestones, and watching their story unfold has been one of my favorite parts of this journey.

Now the countdown is on for the arrival of their precious baby boy, and I couldn't be happier for them! 💙 I already know he's going to be surrounded by so much love.

Any summer Ball Photos that haven't been picked up yet are at Midway and are ready for pickup!

Just let the girls working know you're there to pick up photos and tell them your child's name, and they'll get them for you.

While you're there, be sure to treat yourself to some of their delicious food or a scoop (or two 😉) of ice cream! 🍔🍟🍦

I seriously can't get over how gorgeous these turned out! 😍 We started the evening surrounded by the most beautiful flower fields before ending the session in the water just as the sun was beginning to set, and we even managed to beat the rain...well, mostly! 🌦️ We wrapped up just as the first drops started falling, and honestly, it couldn't have been timed any better because we still managed to get the most gorgeous photos!

Just wanted to give an update on Summer Ball pictures!

I was hoping the missing items would get here today so that I could do a pick up this evening but they did not 🤦‍♀️ I do have to be in town by 4 to drop Allie off at a meeting so I'll have the orders I do have at the city park from 4-5 today, Monday July 13th!

And I'll do another tomorrow from 3:30-4:30! Or if morning works out better for anyone I can be there from 8-10 in the morning! Just let me know if that is better than afternoon!

✨ My first Class of 2027 Senior session is officially in the books... (besides my own, but we're not talking about that just yet! 🥹❤️)

I had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous senior at the beautiful Marble Hill Flower Patch, and I am absolutely in love with how these images turned out! The flowers are at their peak, the scenery is stunning, and there are so many beautiful spots all in one location.

If you've been thinking about booking flower field photos, now is the time! 🌸🌻 The sunflower field is also in full bloom, and there's even creek access nearby, making it easy to get a huge variety of looks during one session.

📸 I still have a few openings available next week in the evenings starting at 6:30
🌼 Monday & Tuesday: Possible mini sessions (depending on interest)
🌼 Wednesday & Thursday: Full sessions available

These sessions are perfect for Seniors, families, couples, kiddos, or anyone wanting updated photos in one of the prettiest locations of the summer!
