Everyone talks about “freezing time” when it comes to babies…

I think it’s the tiny things we don’t realize we’ll miss that hit the hardest later.
The scrunched noses.
The milk-drunk yawns.
The way their lips curl when they stretch.
The little sounds and expressions that disappear before you even realize they’re changing.
And suddenly the baby who fit in the crook of your arm doesn’t anymore.

The why behind documenting babies the way I do.
Not just smiling at the camera
but existing exactly as they are right now.

Heavy emotion.

It’s wild how something so small can hold so much.

I didn’t set out to photograph babies like this…
but there’s something about slowing down,
stripping everything back,
and just letting them be exactly as they are.

that hits in a way you don’t expect.

These sessions are quietly becoming a favorite…
and I don’t think it’s just me. 🤍
