I’ve had “new intro post” on my to-do list for months. A chance to share new pictures, tell ya’ll how honored we feel capturing your stories, and to share a little more about us as a q***r couple photography team.
But this morning, that lighthearted introduction feels a little lost. Last night, I lay awake at 3am, checking the election results feeling a heavy weight begin to settle on me. I didn’t want to wake Bekah up, but the questions came anyway: “What do we do now?” “What does our future look like?” “Are we safe here?” It’s hard to explain the feeling—it’s a mix of sadness, anger, fear, and a need to keep moving forward for the people and community we love.
So here’s us. We’re a team who believes deeply in love, in joy, and in every person’s right to feel safe, seen, and celebrated. We believe that love isn’t just a beautiful thing to capture—it’s a right to be defended. When we say we’re passionate about storytelling, we mean it: our work isn’t just photography; it’s documenting and showing up for love in all its forms, for our community, and for the values we hold close.
If you’re here with us, if you believe in a world where everyone has the right to live and love without fear, then we’re so grateful to have you. We might not have all the answers this morning, but we’re here, and we’re ready to keep telling the stories that matter.
