After 16 years of living in Wisconsin, I finally rode the Elroy-Sparta Trail!

About 70 miles over two days and one night, riding between Sparta and Elroy, exploring the history of the first rail-to-trail project in the U.S., and riding through three amazing rock train tunnels—including one almost a mile long!

A big thunderstorm added some excitement, but I found shelter just in time. After the storm, I was rewarded with an incredible sunset.

Beautiful landscapes, fascinating history, and a great adventure. Definitely a trail I recommend!
