A gentle update from my heart 🤍
For many years, photography has been a way I’ve documented love- families growing, seniors stepping into new chapters, holidays marked in time. It has been an honor to witness so many tender, meaningful moments, and I will always be grateful for the trust you placed in me.
Over time, my work- and I- have evolved. And I took a step back to sort of figure out where I wanted to go with Wild Arrow Photography.
The direction my art is now taking is deeply rooted in embodiment, intimacy, and the lived experience of being in a woman’s body. I am feeling called to focus my creative energy on bo***ir and embodiment photography: work that honors sensuality, self-connection, reclamation, and presence. The same work I do as an Embodiment and Intimacy Coach with a clinical lens.
This shift isn’t a rejection of what came before. It’s an extension of the same intention that’s always guided my work- seeing people fully and holding space with care- now expressed through a different lens.
As I move into this next chapter, I’ll be stepping away from family, senior, and seasonal portrait sessions to devote myself fully to this work.
For the clients I have spoken to that have been with me from the beginning and never missed a Christmas mini, or opportunity to work with me each year- I will continue to honor that and take your family photos annually.
If you’ve been part of my photography journey in the past, please know how much I appreciate you. Your stories helped shape me as an artist, and they remain part of the foundation that made this transition possible.
If you’re curious about where my work is going, you’re welcome to follow me on my new photography page (Shadow & Silk Studios) and witness the unfolding. And if this new direction isn’t aligned for you, I honor that completely.
Thank you for witnessing this evolution and for allowing me to grow in truth.
With gratitude,
Kaylie
